Jason Weyl is the Owner and Head Instructor of Tiger•Dragon Martial Arts Academy, where he teaches authentic HKB Black Flag Kung Fu. His martial arts journey began in 1990 as a child studying Shotokan Karate under Sensei Ronald Frazier and later continued under Mike Duncan in Taekwondo. Years later, Jason continued his training under Mike Robinson of Robinson’s ATA where he earned his 1st degree black belt in 2009. That same year he began training in the Ip Man/Moy Yat lineage of Wing Chun under Sifu Michael Sampson. In 2012 he started dedicated HKB training while continuing his Wing Chun studies. In 2017 he began training under Sifu Francis Fong while remaining committed to Black Flag practice.

In 2020 he began training under Suhu John Hackmeyer in Richmond Hill, Georgia, and continues that training to this day. He has also kept the kung fu relationship intact with Sukong Lin Xiang Fuk in Surabaya, Indonesia for more than 14 years. Throughout his training Jason has taught both Wing Chun and HKB classes and previously helped establish a strong kids’ program during the early development of SVT Martial Arts Academy. Drawing on this foundation, he is dedicated to the clear and practical transmission of authentic HKB, emphasizing precision, focus, efficiency, and real skill.
